Gail is a housing professional and has worked as a consultant for 12 years. Her experience includes work with vulnerable client groups, eg tenants with learning disabilities, mental health problems, older people and women fleeing domestic violence. Gail has also provided training to organisations and helped them write policies and action plans.
Gina is a former City councillor, serving on cabinet and committees. She is currently a County Councillor, representing Lancaster Central Division.
She worked as a NHS Health Promotion Specialist for 12 years, working in places such as universities and prisons; and with the World Health Organisation.
Simon is a director of Green Door Lancaster Ltd which has undertaken an eco-renovation and conversion of a Victorian Pub. He has retail and manufacturing business experience, and also works to enhance woodlands and other green spaces in the district.
Simon is a trustee of the charities, Lancaster Green Spaces and the Harmony with Nature Charitable Trust. He is also company secretary for the Community Land Trust.
Peter has a long history of renovating older houses and barn conversions. He has also delivered new build housing, both as a private developer and in partnership with Lancaster City Council. More recently he has delivered commercial and residential energy assessments and has worked to combat fuel poverty.
Peter is currently a Committee Member of the Lancaster Civic Society and Lancaster Engineering Society.
What is a Community Land Trust?
A Community Land Trust or CLT is a non-profit, community based organisation that works to develop and steward affordable housing, community gardens, civic buildings, commercial spaces and other community assets on behalf of a community.
